2024 Technology Adoption in Law Firms Webinar Series
ALTA Members: Interested in reaching 100s of potential buyers FOR FREE?
Register your interest to speak at our Technology Adoption in Law Firms Series in association with The Law Institute of Victoria (The LIV).
The Law Institute of Victoria (The LIV), in association with ALTA, is hosting a six-part webinar series on the effective adoption of technology by lawyers and law firms. It aims to increase the dialogue and understanding between vendors and users, to bridge the theory/implementation gap.
Through six one-hour webinars, we’ll explore the organisational dynamics of change and identify ways in which vendors and users can work together to maximise the benefit of technology investments. Webinars 1 and 6 will led by Leadership Development Executive Andrea Foot, who will set the scene in webinar 1 and draw together learnings in webinar 6. Webinars 2-5 will be led by vendors.
That’s where you come in.
Why speak?
Representing over 18,000 lawyers, The LIV is the peak body for the Victorian legal profession. LIV webinars attract hundreds of attendees, typically 150-300. Attendees range from larger firms right through to smalls and solos. Speaking at a LIV / ALTA webinar as an ALTA member represents a valuable opportunity to raise your profile with this engaged constituency.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for speakers from legal tech vendors ranging from practice management and document management systems, through to workflow, productivity, and automation tools.
What’s involved?
You’ll lead a one-hour webinar on an agreed date between the end of May and October 2024, with an ALTA Board member or LIV senior employee chairing. This won’t be a demo – we’ll need you to create original content from your own experience that explores what works well and what doesn’t when implementing new technology. This will be about tips from the coalface – things you wish law firms knew about maximising value from tech. It’s about the ‘how’ rather than just the ‘what’. War stories (anon, of course) would go down well, as would a co-hosted session with a lawyer/law firm client sharing their experiences of implementing your tech. We’ll help you prep, but the precise format of the webinar will be up to you – you can make it your own.
