Habeas
“Habeas is an emerging Australian startup that is changing the way legal research is done. It offers a suite of AI tools for researching case law, accessing key legal insights and synthesising information in an efficient and intuitive way. Habeas provides a crucial alternative to outdated and impenetrable database search systems.
Some key tools on our platform include:
1. A ‘semantic search engine’ which retrieves and summarises relevant case law, allowing for cross-search and extraction of key information from billions of documents across publicly accessible legal databases.
2. ‘Web chat’ functionalities that allow lawyers to engage in real-time Q+A, getting immediate answers to complex queries based on information synthesised from reputable sources of legal information. Habeas reads, summarises, synthesises and extracts this information in real time for lawyers.
3. ‘Report Generator’ tooling which allow lawyers to generate detailed legal research reports to complex queries incredibly quickly, across any topic or jurisdiction.
