Horace Wu, Founder and CEO, Syntheia
Having practiced as a lawyer for many years, Horace has a special interest in creating and building products that make it easy to access, analyze and understand legal data. Originally from Sydney, Horace spent over a decade practicing as a banking and finance lawyer and an M&A lawyer for top tier law firms in Australia and in the US. Horace launched Syntheia, a knowledge platform for lawyers in 2018. Prior to Syntheia, Horace founded a consumer-facing app that provided users with personalized recommendations for events and entertainment. Horace serves as Treasurer on the board of the Australian Legal Technology Association and is Co-Chair of the Constituents Council at ILTA.

Tom Dreyfus, CEO and Co-Founder Josef
Tom co-founded Josef in 2019 with Sam Flynn and Kirill Kliavin – creating a no-code software platform that empowers lawyers and legal professionals to automate legal tasks. Tom leads the company strategy and global relationships with customers and technology partners and to date over 6000 bots have been built globally, solving a multitude of legal problems daily. Tom has worked as a solicitor and served as an associate at the High Court of Australia. Tom was also a founding member of the Columbia Law School Legal Technology Association and is the Vice President of the Australian Legal Tech Association.
